Sree Ranganatha Swamy Devasthanam and Charitable Trust Yapral (76/ IV/ 2024)
"Discover serenity within sacred walls, where the whispers of devotion echo through time. Welcome to our temple, where each step is a journey into the divine, and every moment is an offering of peace."
Sree Ranganatha Swamy Devastham, Yapral is a 200-year-old temple which was established by the Late Sri Vadamahamalai Narayana Swamy. When the temple was getting into a dilapidated condition, a few devout people came together and formed a Trust and the reconstruction of the temple was undertaken. The temple was dismantled from the ground level and was re-constructed and the consecration and Kumbabhishekam were performed by His Holiness Sree Sree Jayendra Saraswathi of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam in the year 1986. The main Deity Vigraham of Lord Sree Ranganatha Swamy was donated by Sri Rangadas with the blessings of Sree Sree Chandrasekar of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
The main Deity Sree Ranaganatha Swamy is accompanied by Goddess Sree Laxmi and Goddess Sree Andal. Gradually, there were other installations in the temple premises of Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Lord Ganesha, Navagraha temple, and Nagadevata.
Recently, an 11-foot Idol of Lord Sree Venkateshwara has been installed in the main temple hall where Kalyanotsavamas and other pujas and homams are being held. The temple is adorned with Statues of 10 Avatharas, Ashtha Lakshmi, and the temple premises are now adorned with a huge Hanuman statue 30 feet height and Surya Bhagavan
The temple has become a place of worship and regular pujas being held and public celebrations marking important events like, Brahmotsavams, Sree Andal Kalyanam, Sree Rama Navami, Ganesh Utsavam, Durga Navaratris, Sree Krishna Janmashtami, Shivrati, Vaikunta Ekadashi and many more all through the year.
Regular Annadanam (Poor Feeding) is being held every Saturday where approximately 500 people from nearby communities take lunch Prasadam. We serve the local poor and needy population with Annadanam and distribution of essential groceries irrespective of caste or religion
A Development Proposal has been attached for your kind consideration. We sincerely pray to the Lord to bestow his blessings for all.

Our mission is to create and maintain a community center that acts as a focal point for empowerment and assistance. This will be accomplished through the provision of a state-of-the-art kitchen, an annadanam hall, a versatile event hall, a vocational center, and a shelter hall. Our goal is to establish a space where individuals can come together to learn new skills, receive support, and find inspiration. The modern kitchen will serve as a platform for culinary education and provide nutritious meals to those in need. The annadanam hall will offer a space for communal dining, fostering a sense of togetherness. The multi-purpose event hall will host various activities, workshops, and events to encourage personal growth and community engagement. The vocational center aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills and training for employment opportunities. Lastly, the shelter hall will provide temporary accommodation for those facing homelessness or crisis situations. Together, these facilities will contribute to the overall well-being and empowerment of our community.
Vision
Anadanam (Free Food Distribution)
Every Saturday, our temple extends its warm hospitality and culinary delights to all who seek it through Anna Dhanam. This beautiful tradition, which has been cherished for many years, embodies the essence of selflessness and generosity. As we come together to share a humble meal, we create a sacred ritual that transcends time. Laughter fills the air, carrying the echoes of joy and camaraderie, while the enticing aroma of the food touches not only our taste buds but also our souls. In this sacred gathering, we find unity and nourishment for both our bodies and spirits. It is a reminder that the act of giving and sharing can bring profound fulfillment and create an atmosphere of love and compassion.
Goshala and Seva for Cows:
"Step into the serene sanctuary of our Goshala, where we extend our devotion beyond the human realm. Caring for the sacred beings who grace our temple, our seva for the cows is a harmonious dance of love and respect. Witness the beauty of compassion as we tend to these gentle souls, creating a haven of tranquility and gratitude. Each day is an offering, and each act of service is a step towards a more harmonious existence."
As we come together in devotion and faith, let us remember the true essence of our spiritual journey – compassion, kindness, and selflessness. Our teachings remind us of the profound impact that small acts of generosity can have on those in need.
